The FAQ
What's your style?
My style is heavily influenced from film photography. All my work aims to provide natural skin tones, punchy colours and a small amount of grain.
What's your turn around time?
I'll send you a sneak peek within 1 week & I’ll send you the final gallery within 8-12 weeks of your wedding.
What do you charge?
I have several packages available.
Please send me an email via the contact page to find out more.
What’s included with the 35mm film images?
Depending on what package you choose, I’ll shoot up to 10 rolls of film and provide you with high res scans to go with your digital images.
Each roll of film has 36 shots with a feel to them that is unmatched by any digital image.
It truely does give you some amazing images and sets your day apart from others.
What film do you use and what resolution will it be scanned?
I use Kodak Portra 400.
Film will be scanned at a high resolution, suitable for online use & A4 / A3 prints.
How many photos do we get?
That depends on the package you choose. I always aim to give you quality not quantity.
Don't worry though, you'll get plenty. Most my full day packages get around 800+ images.
How do we book you?
The best way is to send me an email via the contact page. From there, I'll send you my package list and some other information.
Can we meet you?
Of course!
It’s not necessary, but if it makes you feel more comfortable then certainly. We can meet either before you book or closer to your wedding day. I love getting to know all my couples.
Do you charge for Travel?
If it's under one hour from Adelaide it's included. If it’s further than this an additional charge of $350 will apply. Interstate / OS weddings the packages include travel costs.
Do we have to feed you?
The short answer is yes please :) The days can be long and I generally don't eat lunch whilst shooting so something to eat that night would be amazing.
What's the payment terms?
To officially book your date, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of your total package is required. The remaining balance is due a week before your wedding.
What about COVID?
My 25% desposit is non-refundable but I only take the remaining amount a week before the wedding. This allows us to make sure that the wedding is going to take place. If it doesn’t take place I will work with you to ensure that we can organise a new date together, or if that’s not possilbe we can organise a refund of the remaining 75%. I’ll always do my best to make sure I can make the new date work.
Do we need a second shooter?
You don’t have to have a second shooter. I capture each part of the wedding day in great detail by myself but if you’re having a larger wedding I would recommend it.
The reasons why some people add a second shooter is:
- If the bride and groom are getting ready in locations far away fom each other. This allows enough time capture all the photos and make it to the ceremony on time.
- If you want more angles and a wider vairety of shots
Can we buy an album after the wedding?
Yes. You can purchase a wedding album at any stage.
Is 8 hours enough?
It just depends on what type of wedding you have planned.
The other packages allow for more time before hand & more time on the dancefloor. Those packages really allow me to capture the full day and tell your story.
Do you shoot overseas & do elopements?
Yes, I love to shoot in new places. Please email me for those rates and information.
